Corn Dogs Majority Owner Ralph Flores applauded the broadcast partnership with WJOB and JEDtv.

“The Corn Dogs offer their fans an exciting, winning baseball experience,” Flores said. “Our broadcast partnership with WJOB and JEDtv will extend our reach and open up new opportunities to attract more fans and team sponsors. We’re grateful to station owner Jim Dedelow and Sports Director Sam Michel for seeing the potential that the Corn Dogs’ brand of sports entertainment can bring to their broadcast platforms.”

Dedelow said the broadcast partnership is a win-win for both organizations.

“WJOB and JEDtv have long-been a prime outlet for local sports programming across the Northwest Indiana region, and now we’re raising our game through our broadcast partnership with the Corn Dogs,” Dedelow said. “I’ve admired the Corn Dogs’ success on the diamond and in attracting fans to the ballpark during their first two seasons. I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish together this season and beyond.”

WJOB/JEDtv Sports Director Sam Michel added, “We’re excited at JEDtv to continue to add partnerships with the region’s great sports organizations. Summertime will now be filled with Corn Dogs baseball on the JEDtv Sports Network.”

Corn Dogs announce broadcast team

Corn Dogs games will feature play-by-play announcer Noel Fary, who is back in the broadcast booth for his third season with the team. Garrett Larson will join Fary in the booth, providing color commentary in his first season with the team.

Fary is a 2024 graduate for Indiana University in Bloomington where he majored in Sports Media. While at IU he participated in numerous broadcast clubs and organizations, including WIUX, Big Ten Plus and HoosierRadio. Most recently, he worked as the voice of IU Softball.

Larson will be a senior this fall at IU where he is majoring in Sports Media and Advertising. He produces his own podcast and has provided commentary for IU Baseball.

In addition to broadcast duties this season, Fary is taking on a larger role this season as Corn Dogs Director of Media & Communications and Supervisor of Interns.

“Noel has been a valuable member of our organization from the beginning and has proven himself up to the task of taking on a key role for the team,” Flores said. “We’re proud to help him launch his professional broadcasting career.”
