Frank Plesac is a right-handed starting pitcher from Crown Point. He is entering into his sophomore year at Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana.


Plesac graduated from Crown Point High School in 2020. His senior year was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, Plesac was a part of the Bulldog team that won its sectional championship.


Plesac joined the Bethel Pilots in 2021, and it did not take long for him to make an impact. In two starts, Plesac had a 0.64 ERA with 19 strikeouts. He pitched complete games against Spring Arbor and Goshen College. These two starts earned Plesac the NCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honors.


Plesac is the nephew of MLB Network analyst and former MLB pitcher Dan Plesac. His older brother is Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher Zach Plesac.


He now returns to pitch for his hometown Corn Dogs team.
