Will Pettit will be entering his rookie season in the Northern League in 2022. He is a freshman at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
Pettit attended Crown Point High School, where he pitched for the baseball team and played quarterback for the Bulldogs.
In his senior year, Pettit finished with a 4-0 record and a team-low 1.09 ERA, striking out 39 hitters over 25.2 innings.
Behind his stellar pitching numbers, Pettit was selected to the second all-area team and to the first-team all-DAC team.
He comes from a line of stellar Crown Point athletes, his father, Chip, and grandfather, Jack, who starred for the Bulldogs.
